Notorious for his funky and fun sleepwear designs, fashion icon Peter Alexander will be spreading the festive cheer when he visits his Garden City store this Thursday, December 1. The Melbourne-born designer will be on site lending shoppers a hand with their Christmas shopping and will be available for photos and autographs. The visit is part of his annual Australia/New Zealand Christmas Tour for 2011.

Shoppers can expect a unique experience during Peter’s visit. As well as offering fashion advice, there will be discounts of up to 25% off purchases and Peter will be handing out lollies to his customers! Favoured by celebrities such as Paris and Nikki Hilton, Kylie Minogue and Katherine Heigl, Peter’s signature clothing items include pyjamas, slippers, homewares plus a kids range.

Victoria Hansen, Marketing Manager of Garden City Shopping Centre, said it is very exciting to welcome Mr Alexander to the centre. “Peter is an iconic Australian designer with nearly 25 years in the business and this is a great opportunity for fans to get up close and personal with the fashion front man,” she said. “He is such a fabulous personality and is always ready to have some fun with the customers.
